Currently, Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Fairfield, and St. Julie Billiart and St. Peter in Chains Catholic Parishes in Hamilton, are evaluating the benefits of forming a Butler County Catholic Education Collaborative. This Collaborative will provide a regional strategy for the vitality and sustainability of Catholic schools and other Catholic educational ministries in your area. It is anticipated that if the Collaborative is established, other parishes and schools will join over time.

Specifically, the Collaborative will provide a:

• Comprehensive elementary school at a single campus in Hamilton on the current St. Peter school site
• Collaborative youth ministry program
• Collaborative early childhood education
• Collaborative marketing, recruitment, and fund raising for Catholic elementary schools

Your responses on the linked survey will assist your pastors and parish leaders in the decision to participate in this Butler County Catholic Education Collaborative process. Your response to this survey is requested no later than December 15, 2007.
